Information Density — The Lens

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Info Density Power-words vs. Substance ratio.
23 Impact Weight: 30 / 100
77% Reputation

The site demonstrates high substance through specific metrics such as up to £20,000 in annual vet fees and a 98% claim payment rate. However, points were lost for fluffy heading saturation like [H2] Proud to be premium and [H2] Pet insurance with purpose, which lack concrete nouns. The repetition of the 1890 establishment date across every page serves as a crutch for substance.

Information Density is read straight from the body copy: how much of the text carries grounded, checkable substance versus hollow filler. Below is the clean text the engine analyzed, then the industry’s known generic-claim patterns to weigh it against.

[H2] Why should I choose lifetime pet insurance cover?
[IMG: Girl and her dog on an adventure]
There’s no NHS for pets.
If your four-legged family member falls ill, has an accident or develops a lifetime condition, the cost of their care is down to you.
Unless they have lifetime pet insurance.
Unlike other policies, lifetime cover is there for your pet, for life. So, should they need veterinary treatment, we’ll take care of the cost, and you can be there for them.
At Agria, we believe pet insurance should last your pet’s lifetime. Our policies provide lifelong vet fees for illnesses and injuries!
[H2] Frequently asked questions
[H3] What is lifetime pet insurance?
Lifetime pet insurance is a policy that covers veterinary expenses for your pet throughout its life, with no annual or per-condition limits, as long as you renew the policy and pay premiums. It provides ongoing coverage for illnesses, accidents, and chronic conditions.
[H3] Is a lifetime policy worth it?
Whether a lifetime policy is worth it depends on your pet's health, breed, age, and your budget. It's generally considered as the highest level of comprehensive cover for your pet's entire life, but it often comes with a higher price. Consider if the higher price is worth it for peace of mind.
[H3] Does lifetime pet insurance cover accidents?
Yes, lifetime policies typically cover accidents, along with illnesses and chronic conditions, providing comprehensive cover for your pet's veterinary expenses throughout its life.
[H3] Does the cost of lifetime pet insurance increase every year?
The cost of a lifetime policy can vary depending on factors such as your pet's age, breed, location and also the inflation of veterinary costs. While some policies may adjust premiums annually, others may stay at a fixed rate. It's important to review the terms of your policy to understand how prices may change at the time of renewal.
[H3] Does Agria Pet Insurance have a multi-pet discount?
Yes, you get a 5% multi-pet discount if you insure more than one pet with us. This means you can manage all your pets in one My Account login, choose from different levels of cover for each pet, and save money.
[H3] Do Agria Pet Insurance cover older pets?
There is no upper age limit on our insurance, so you can start your cover at any point of your pet ownership journey.
[H3] Why should I choose Agria Pet Insurance to cover my pet?
At Agria Pet Insurance, we do protection for pets differently. Maybe it's our Swedish heritage, or the fact we have been providing pets with healthcare since 1890. Since then, we have continued to grow across Europe and came to the UK in 2009.
As pet insurance specialists, we work closely with animal welfare organisations, vets and breeders to ensure pets and their owners are provided with the best healthcare.

[H2] Horse insurance explained
Insurance can be confusing – we want to help. Here are some explanations of important areas of insurance you need to know about.
[H3] Excess explained
Fixed excess
This is the amount that you must pay towards veterinary treatment and complementary treatment received during each period of insurance. The fixed amount is applied once per period of insurance for the veterinary treatment your horse receives. You may only increase your excess at time of renewal.

Co-insurance
This is the percentage that you must pay towards the cost of veterinary treatment and complementary treatment received during each period of insurance and is applied per claim. The percentage amount is calculated on the amount left after the fixed excess is deducted. The co-insurance percentage cannot be changed.
[H3] Is microchipping required?
It is a legal requirement to have your horse microchipped. To support any claims assessments for your horse, we will need to take their microchip number.
[H3] Transferring my horse’s lifetime cover to a new owner
If there is a change in ownership of your horse, please contact our Customer Services team on 03330 308377 who will be happy to help with this.
[H3] What is sum insured, purchase price and market value?
‘Sum insured’ is the amount selected by you that we accepted as the most we will pay. ‘Purchase price’ is what you declared as paying when buying your horse. ‘Market value' is the price generally paid for a horse of the same age, breed, sex and ability as your horse just before the injury happened or the illness first showed clinical signs.
[H3] Is dental treatment covered?
In some cases dental treatment is covered. We will pay the cost of root tip abscess up to the maximum benefit for the examination and treatment of root abscess. We also cover tooth fracture up to £450 per period of insurance for a tooth fracture involving the tooth root. Please refer to T&Cs for more information
[H3] Can you insure a horse without a vetting certificate?
The requirements for a vetting certificate depend on the value of the horse and whether you wish to take out additional cover for loss of use and death. We will let you know whether this is required when taking out a policy with us.
Our equine claims team conduct a review of the requested documentation. Additional exclusions may then be placed on your policy depending on the findings.
If additional exclusions are placed on the policy, you will be informed and an additional 14-day cooling-off period will be added.
View our table to see the vetting certificate requirements visually explained.
[H3] How much is horse insurance?
The cost of horse insurance can vary based on the horse's age, breed, location, activity group, and the type of policy you choose. Lifetime horse insurance is often considered the best option as it provides cover for ongoing and chronic conditions throughout your horse's life. Note that we do not cover conditions that started before your policy, or within your first 14 days of cover.
Although the cost of lifetime insurance may be slightly higher, the peace of mind of knowing your horse is covered for life can outweigh the increased cost. The average price Agria customers paid for horse insurance was £43.17 per month. This is based on all new Agria Horse Insurance policies sold in Q1 of 2024 at all Lifetime cover levels. This includes Insurance Premium Tax and excludes policies sold where a discount or special offer was available.
[H3] Are race horses insured?
Agria does not insure any horses that race under British Horse Racing Authority rules but we do cover horses for point to point racing.
[H3] Do horse trailers need separate insurance?
There is no legal requirement for specific trailer insurance. However horse trailers are targeted by thieves so many insure against this. Agria does not currently offer specific horse trailer insurance.

🧭 Industry Context — common generic-claim patterns in Pets, Veterinary & Animal Services to weigh the text against
Generic Claims: we treat your pets like family, compassionate care for every animal, your pet deserves the best, trusted by pet owners for years, state-of-the-art veterinary care, because pets are family…
Red Flags: no RCVS or veterinary board registration visible, guaranteed health outcomes for animals, alternative treatments presented as veterinary medicine, no named veterinarians with qualifications, pricing hidden entirely, stock photos of animals instead of real practice images…
Semantic Drift Patterns: homepage claims advanced care but services are basic wellness only, claims specialist expertise but no specialist qualifications listed, homepage shows high-tech equipment but facility photos show basic setup, claims 24/7 emergency but contact page shows limited hours…
Proof Expectations: RCVS registration for all veterinary surgeons, specific specialist qualifications beyond BVSc, real facility photographs, transparent fee estimates for common procedures, named veterinary team with qualifications, emergency and out-of-hours care arrangements…
